We’ve launched a new Channel Manager Dashboard to easily monitor what room types and rate plans are connected to each OTA. It’s also possible to download the connection state as an Excel spreadsheet. Coming next for the Channel Manager Dashboard is a feature to help manage the linking of rate plans with OTAs.
Set a Gap Management Policy that covers bookings received from your website, OTAs and travel agents. A Gap Management Policy can automatically protect against small, hard-to-fill gaps. The Rates Audit Report provides a new way to view rates and occupancy across one or more properties. It generates an Excel download containing rates, restrictions and occupancy. See our Help Site for more information.

With Simplified View, you can quickly select the Category and Type using a straightforward dropdown menu, bypassing the more detailed select menu with icons and descriptions. Simply, check the box at the top-right of the manual booking page to enable this new view. This efficient layout is perfect for the users and agents who are familiar with the products and want to minimize the time spent on each booking creation.

This new feature allows users to present important information—such as the product pricing, booking total, change due etc—directly to guests during transactions. A new feature designed to simplify the booking process for your guests. Our latest update introduces a “BookingID” merge tag to the Rich Messages for the Customer Intranet. This addition allows guests to directly add items to their existing bookings with ease. For example, guests who have made accommodation bookings can click on a merge tag-enabled link from their Customer Intranet page. This link directs them to the guest service booking page, where they can effortlessly add services or additional items to their reservation package. As you may know, RB offers a POS for customer-facing sales. Our POS provides a quick and easy way to sell non-accommodation products and services. It’s integrated with Square Terminal for payments, and Epson thermal printers for receipts and tickets. Two exciting new POS features were released! New Room Charge Functionality In addition to charging by credit card etc, now PMS users are able to room charge. Rooms that are checked-in can be selected for charging. Guest name(s) are displayed to help ensure the right room is charged. POS-only User Role It’s possible to provide a user with access only to POS (no access to other parts of the system). This can be appropriate in situations such as a hotel restaurant that’s operated by an external contractor. Our POS allows them to room charge, while avoiding access to any PMS functions. Flywire is now supported by RoomBoss Widget Payments, making it quick & easy for guests to make international payments—without ever leaving the booking engine. Once enabled and a booking is made, Book and Pay guests are immediately presented with a “Pay Now” button, allowing them to choose from a variety of payment methods (including card and bank-transfer) via the Flywire checkout screen. As with all Flywire payments, Card Tokenisation is also supported, allowing you to securely authorise payment methods for future use when the Save Customer & Card setting is enabled.
